Coaching for creative founders overwhelmed and struggling to build a consistent, sustainable business.

Find clarity, restore your energy, and build a sustainable way of working and living.

Is this for you?

If you're a creative founder who's good at what you do but quietly struggling with the weight of it yes, probably.

You don't need to be in crisis. You don't need to have it all figured out before we speak. Most people I work with just know that something needs to change, and they haven't had the right space to work out what.

If you're ready to slow down long enough to think clearly that's enough to get started.

The Problem

You are a creative founders caught between the work you care about and the demands of running a your career or business. What often starts as passion gradually becomes pressure; juggling clients, deadlines, decisions, and the constant need to generate the next opportunity. Because creative work is so closely tied to your identity, it can be difficult to step back and see clearly what’s sustainable and what isn’t.

Over time this can lead you to feeling overwhelmed, scattered, and depleted in energy, even when things appear to be going well from the outside. Without space to reflect and reset, you end up working harder rather than working in a way that truly supports your long-term success.

In our work together

We'll start by slowing things down. Most creative founders come to coaching running at full speed so the first thing we do is create some space to actually think.

From there, we work on what matters most to you. That might be getting clarity on your direction, making a decision you've been avoiding, setting boundaries that actually stick, or simply finding a way of working that doesn't leave you depleted by Friday.

Some people come knowing exactly what they want to work on. Others arrive with a vague sense that something needs to change but can't quite name it yet. Both are fine starting points.

What tends to change is this: you start to see your situation more clearly, make decisions with more confidence, and find a rhythm that supports the work without consuming the rest of your life.

What clients say

“Dean helped me make connections to positive creativity in other areas of my life which I'd never have made on my own, and after three sessions I once more felt confident enough to trust in my abilities and begin making art again.”

“He asked questions that led me to my own answers. It has been life changing. Do not hesitate to reach out to him as he is sensitive, brilliant, inquisitive and open minded.”

“I've been able to push the noise of changing and ever demanding pressures to the background and focus on what is important, to create forward motion for my business. I come away with so much clarity on what I'm doing in between sessions. As a result I'm establishing new habits which can build on old ones that I'd forgotten and lost sight of.”

“Dean provided a comfortable space where I could talk freely, and I really did talk! The questions he asked enabled me to identify reasons for my lack of confidence and I found a simple solution that I’ve been using ever since. I call it the 90% factor!”

My Approach

I'm not here to give you answers. You already have most of them you just haven't had the right conditions to find them yet.

My job is to ask the questions that help you think more clearly, notice what you've been avoiding, and move forward with more intention. Sessions are calm, unhurried, and confidential. There's no agenda other than yours.

I work this way because I've been a creative founder myself. I know how rarely you get the chance to just stop and think without someone needing something from you, without a decision pressing in, without the next thing already waiting. That's what I try to create.
