How is coaching different from mentoring?
Great question! Coaching is about asking powerful, thought-provoking questions to help you gain clarity and take action. Unlike mentoring, which often involves giving advice or sharing experience, coaching empowers you to find your own answers and create lasting, meaningful change. You’re in the driver’s seat the coach simply helps guide the way.

What if I live in a different country to the UK?
No problem at all! I work with clients from all over the world via Zoom. As long as we can find a suitable time across time zones (which we usually can!), I’d be happy to work with you wherever you’re based.
-
How is coaching different from therapy?
Coaching is future-focused and goal-driven. As Rogers (2008) puts it, coaching is “overtly goal-focused, moves at a faster pace, and is more oriented toward the future.” While therapy often explores the “why” behind personal challenges, coaching focuses on the “what”—what you want to achieve and how to move forward. Coaching assumes you are resourceful and capable of change, not in need of fixing.

What if I can't make some of the sessions?
That’s absolutely okay. If you feel you need to focus on other things in your life or are really busy you can hold the sessions as credits as long as they are used in one year from starting out.
-
How many sessions will I need?
That depends on you your goals, your pace, and your personal journey. Everyone’s different. Before we begin, we’ll have a free discovery call to explore what you’re hoping to achieve and create a plan that suits you. Whether it’s a few sessions or a longer journey, we’ll tailor it together.
-
Do you work with all creatives?
I generally work with professional creatives or founders where their creativity is part of their business or income . Do get in touch if you are unsure.

I'm a bit embarrassed about talking about my situation?
That’s understandable, it’s not that easy talking openly with a coach you don’t know. I’ve been through the mill and so have many of my clients, my role is non judgemental and compassionate. As we get to know each other talking openly will get easier and that will help you move forward.
